Atalanta 1-2 PSG: PSG complete stunning turnaround to reach Champions League semi-finals

Paris Saint-Germain are through to the semi-finals of the Champions League after beating Atalanta in a stunning tie.

The French champions scored in the 90th and 93rd minutes to come through against the Italians.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting - yes, really - grabbed the winner to seal the stunning turnaround.

PSG were without Kylian Mbappe from the start due to the Frenchman's recovery, leaving the onus on Neymar.

And the Brazilian tried his hardest to drag PSG through but he wasn't able to do it.

The first half was all about the 28-year-old.

It seemed like barely a minute went by without the Brazilian being on the ball, although the results were mixed.

Outside of the box, Neymar was brilliant. He pulled the strings and got into many dangerous positions.

But once he got into those threatening areas, he couldn’t put the ball away.

He squandered two big chances to score, the first of which came just before Atalanta went 1-0 up.

Even Kylian Mbappe knew it was a shocker.

There was also this wayward effort just before half-time.

We also saw the Brazilian at his sumptuous best. This run in the first half was exquisite and a reminder of his skills.

He began to turn it on in the second half, producing this sublime nutmeg...

At times, it felt like Neymar vs Atalanta. But it ended with Marquinhos and Choupo-Moting grabbing the goals that sent PSG through.
