Midfielders Fabinho and Joel Matip were not added in the Liverpool squad due their recovery from injury.
Any player that suffer and illness or injury can be replaced up to 24 hours before the first match the Reds are set to play in.
Liverpool have a packed December schedule because of their involvement in the Club World Cup but Virgil van Dijk is determined to win more silverware.
“For almost everyone in our team [at Liverpool] it's something new,” Van Dijk explained.
“I think this squad can be the first Liverpool side to win the Club World Cup.
“It'll be a great experience. We're all looking forward to going out there and hopefully get that trophy as well.”
