Wales' golden girls Emma Finucane and Anna Morris led a memorable night at the Commonwealth Games, defeating England rivals to claim gold medals in Glasgow.
Finucane secured her second gold medal in as many nights with victory in the women's sprint, comfortably overcoming England's Sophie Capewell in the final.
Morris followed with an impressive triumph over England's Josie Knight in the women's 4,000m individual pursuit to continue Wales' outstanding start to the track cycling competition.
The evening brought further drama for Morris, who crossed the line second in the scratch race just over an hour after her pursuit victory, only to be relegated to fifth following a post-race decision.
Wales' medal haul was boosted further when Rhian Edmunds claimed a surprise bronze in the sprint, taking the nation's tally to six medals after the opening two nights of competition at Glasgow's Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, including three golds.
With both Finucane and Morris still set to compete in additional events, Wales will be confident of adding to their impressive collection.
"These Games have been the highlight of my career alongside the Olympics," Finucane said.
"It's been amazing what we've achieved as such a small nation.
"Anna won today as well, and we've all pulled together. I believe it's the passion and belief we have that makes the difference."
