Barcelona have submitted an official bid to Borussia Dortmund for winger Karim Adeyemi, according to transfer journalists Fabrizio Romano and Gerard Romero.
Romano reported on Thursday that negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, with Adeyemi keen on a move to Camp Nou.
"Karim Adeyemi has agreed terms with Barcelona and informed BVB he only wants a Barça move," Romano wrote on X.
"Adeyemi, out of contract in June 2027, is not planning to sign a new deal."
The Italian journalist added that Barcelona have already presented their offer and are now waiting for Dortmund’s response.
The move comes shortly after Barcelona completed the signing of Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, indicating that Hansi Flick’s side remain determined to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.
Adeyemi, 24, missed Germany’s World Cup squad due to injury but has continued to be a regular presence in the national team setup in recent years.
A potential switch to Barcelona would represent another major step in the forward’s career as the Catalan giants look to add more firepower to their attack.
