Defending champions Northampton Saints will begin their Premiership title defence at home against Newcastle Red Bulls on the opening weekend of the 2026-27 season.
Saints, who defeated Exeter Chiefs in June to lift the Premiership trophy for the second time in three seasons, will kick off the new campaign under the Friday night lights on 25 September.
Exeter will also begin the season on home soil, welcoming Gloucester to Sandy Park on the Saturday.
Elsewhere across the opening round, Harlequins host Bath on Friday evening, Sale Sharks entertain Bristol on Saturday night, while Leicester Tigers take on Saracens in the weekend's only Sunday fixture.
The 2026-27 Premiership final will be staged at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, on Saturday, 19 June 2027, with the league calendar once again structured around the international rugby schedule.
Following five league rounds across the opening six weeks of the campaign in September and October, the Premiership will pause for four weeks in November to accommodate the Nations Championship autumn internationals.
Domestic action resumes in December, with four Premiership rounds spread across six weeks before another extended 10-week break during February and March for the Six Nations.
The upcoming season also marks the official end of promotion and relegation in English rugby's top flight.
Although no club has been promoted from the Championship or relegated from the Premiership since Saracens' relegation in 2020 and immediate return in 2021, the change was formally approved in February as part of a wider restructuring of the league. Premiership Rugby is now moving toward a franchise-style model designed to provide greater financial stability and long-term growth.
Several fixtures will once again be played at major stadiums as clubs continue to expand the league's reach.
Harlequins will stage their annual 'Big Game' fixtures at Allianz Stadium, beginning with a festive showdown against Northampton on Monday, 28 December—the Premiership's first-ever Monday night fixture. They will return to Twickenham later in the campaign to face Newcastle in Round 15.
Gloucester also hope to return to Villa Park after hosting their inaugural fixture in Birmingham last season. While the venue is yet to be confirmed, the Cherry and Whites are expected to face Leicester Tigers in the Slater Cup during Round 12 on the weekend of 27 March.
Three weeks later, Bristol Bears will host Gloucester at Cardiff's Principality Stadium in a West Country derby during Round 13.
Premiership Rugby chief executive Simon Massie-Taylor believes the competition is entering a period of sustained growth.
"There's huge momentum behind the Gallagher Premiership heading into the new season, following a third consecutive sold-out final, significant international investment in our clubs, record broadcast audiences and soaring interest from younger fans.
"Following a landmark agreement to change our operating model earlier this year, we are well on the way with our plans to expand the league by the 2029-30 season."
