Coventry City have confirmed the permanent signing of Nigerian midfielder Frank Onyeka from Brentford for an undisclosed fee.
Onyeka initially joined the Sky Blues on loan in January and impressed during the second half of the campaign.
Following the opening of the summer transfer window, Coventry exercised the option to make the deal permanent, with the transfer set to officially take effect on Wednesday, July 1.
The 28-year-old played a key role in Frank Lampard's side's successful Championship campaign, helping the club secure the Sky Bet Championship title and promotion to the Premier League.
Onyeka made 14 league appearances during his loan spell, scoring once as Coventry sealed their return to the top flight.
His permanent move marks the next chapter in his career after leaving Brentford, where he spent three seasons in the Premier League.
