Chibuike Nwaiwu has insisted he is not seeking a move away from Trabzonspor this summer despite growing transfer speculation.
The Nigerian international has been linked with a move to Premier League side Fulham following an impressive season in Turkey, while West Ham United have also reportedly shown interest.
However, the 22-year-old says his focus remains on his current club and he intends to continue his development in Turkey.
“I have an ongoing contract with Trabzonspor, so I need to go back and continue my path with my club,” Nwaiwu said, as quoted by Footy-Africa.
His comments come amid uncertainty over his future, but he has made clear his desire to stay with Trabzonspor beyond this summer.
