Udinese Calcio coach Kosta Runjaic has praised Maduka Okoye and backed the Nigerian goalkeeper to finish the Serie A season strongly after an impressive campaign.
Runjaic said Okoye’s “evolution is in everyone’s eyes,” highlighting his maturity, shot-stopping ability, and importance to Udinese’s defensive stability. The Super Eagles keeper has started 28 league matches this season and kept 10 clean sheets as Udinese push for a top-half finish in Serie A.
Okoye has recently earned widespread praise following consecutive clean sheets and has also been nominated for Serie A Player of the Month for May.
