Masai Russell has expressed her determination to break the women’s 100m hurdles world record currently held by Tobi Amusan.
Russell, one of the rising stars in women’s sprint hurdling, said she is focused on pushing the limits of the event and believes the record is achievable with continued hard work and consistency.
Amusan set the current world record of 12.12 seconds at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon, becoming the first Nigerian athlete to hold a world athletics record.
