Patrice Evra has named Victor Osimhen as his “dream signing” for Manchester United ahead of the next transfer window, stressing that the club urgently needs a proven striker.
The former United left-back made the comments while speaking to GOAL, highlighting Osimhen’s quality and consistency as a top-level forward. He noted that the Nigerian striker’s physicality, movement, and goal-scoring instinct make him an ideal fit for the Premier League side.
Victor Osimhen, currently playing for Galatasaray, has continued to attract major transfer interest across Europe following his outstanding performances. He previously played a key role in Napoli’s historic Serie A title win, ending the club’s 33-year wait for the trophy.
Evra emphasized that Manchester United need more attacking depth to compete across all competitions, insisting that a “proper striker” like Osimhen would strengthen their squad significantly.
The former defender also pointed out that squad rebuilding must extend beyond attack, calling for reinforcements in defence and midfield as the club looks to return to top form.
