Buter has expressed confidence that Sporting Lagos will show improvement in their next outing, insisting the team is prepared to adapt its approach based on different opponents.
Speaking to the club’s media after their opening fixture, Buter explained that the coaching staff thoroughly analysed Ranchers Bees before the game and successfully implemented their strategy.
“We did our analysis for the game against Ranchers Bees because we didn’t play in the same conference, and it was well executed,” he said.
The tactician also stressed that Sporting Lagos are not limited to a single style of play, noting that flexibility remains a key part of the team’s philosophy.
“Every game is different, and every opponent is different too. For us, we don’t play with just one game plan,” Buter added.
“We play based on what we expect from the opposition team.”
Despite being satisfied with aspects of the team’s opening performance, he admitted there is still room for improvement and believes Sporting Lagos can deliver much better displays in upcoming matches.
“I think we can do a lot better and improve on our game from the first match,” he concluded.
