The Super Eagles successfully defended their Unity Cup title with a commanding 3–0 victory over Jamaica at The Valley on Saturday.

Head coach Éric Chelle made just one change to the side that beat Zimbabwe in the semi-final, with Rafiu Durosinmi coming in for Philip Otele.

Nigeria made a fast start, pinning Jamaica back early and taking the lead in the third minute through Alhassan Yusuf.

The Super Eagles maintained their control throughout, doubling their advantage just before the hour mark when Terem Moffi found the net.

Yusuf then added his second goal — and Nigeria’s third — in stoppage time to seal a dominant win.

In the third-place playoff, Zimbabwe defeated India 1–0 to finish third in the competition.
