Moses Itauma will face Filip Hrgović on August 8 in Manchester in what is set to be the toughest test yet of the unbeaten British heavyweight’s professional career.

The 21-year-old enters the bout with a perfect 14–0 record, including 12 knockouts, and last fought in March when he stopped Jermaine Franklin in five rounds. Hrgović, meanwhile, arrives in strong form after a third-round stoppage of Dave Allen on May 16, reinforcing his status as a top heavyweight contender.

Promoter Frank Warren confirmed both the venue and the quality of opposition, stating: “Moses is fighting up in Manchester… He’s fighting a top 10 heavyweight, we expect to get the fight we want to make over the line.”

The fight was initially targeted for July 25 at London’s O2 Arena but was rescheduled to August 8 after Anthony Joshua announced his own fight card in Saudi Arabia on the same date.
