Hearts Ready to Shock Celtic

0

Heart of Midlothian manager Derek McInnes says his side are ready to “rip up the script” in a dramatic final-day Scottish Premiership title showdown with Celtic F.C..

Hearts head into Saturday’s clash at Celtic Park one point clear at the top of the table and can secure their first Scottish league title since 1960 if they avoid defeat. McInnes described the match as “pure box office” and said his players have shown all season they can defy expectations.

Despite controversy surrounding recent refereeing decisions  including a stoppage-time penalty awarded to Celtic against Motherwell, McInnes insisted his focus is now entirely on the opportunity in front of his team.

Hearts have led the league since September and already boast strong results against Celtic this season, including two wins and a draw.
