Nigeria’s Flamingos delivered a dominant display as they thrashed Guinea 6-0 in the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying tie in Ikenne on Sunday, sealing an emphatic 11-0 aggregate victory.
Akeem Busari’s side took control early, with Oluwakemi Adegbuyi opening the scoring in the ninth minute to set the tone for a one-sided contest.
Captain Harmony Chidi, who had already impressed with a hat-trick in the first leg, doubled the advantage in the 21st minute as the hosts continued to overwhelm their opponents.
Two minutes later, Queen Joseph added a third before Adegbuyi struck again just before the half-hour mark to complete her brace and further extend Nigeria’s lead in a commanding performance.
