Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are reportedly set to fight for a newly commissioned “Fight of Britain” belt made from solid gold in their long-awaited heavyweight showdown later this year.
According to reports from The Ring, the custom belt was commissioned by Saudi boxing figure Turki Alalshikh and features Union Jack-inspired red, white, and blue designs with heavy gold detailing.
The bout is expected to be one of the biggest British boxing events ever, with both fighters having chased the matchup for nearly a decade. Reports suggest the contest could happen in late 2026, although an official date and venue are still being finalized.
There are still a few hurdles before the fight becomes fully official:
Joshua is scheduled to face Kristian Prenga in July.
Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has hinted Fury may take another interim fight first.
Early betting odds currently make Fury a slight favorite.
