
Celtic beat St Mirren thanks to an early goal from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a tight Scottish Premiership match.
Celtic took the lead in the first half when Oxlade-Chamberlain finished from close range after a rebound, and that proved to be the only goal of the game.
St Mirren put up a strong fight and had good spells, but they couldn’t find an equaliser despite Celtic struggling to finish their chances.
The win keeps Celtic in the title race, just three points behind leaders Hearts.
