Kiaan Watts from New Zealand has been banned for 25 days by the Union Cycliste Internationale after punching another rider during a race.
The 24-year-old hit Marijn Maas in the head while they were racing at the Salverda Bouw Ster van Zwolle in the Netherlands. The incident was caught on camera, and Watts was immediately disqualified.
He admitted the punch broke the rules and accepted the punishment, which runs from 9 April to 2 May.
