Manchester United are confident Kobbie Mainoo will sign a new long-term deal, according to manager Michael Carrick.
Mainoo is close to agreeing a contract extension that could keep him at the club until 2031, with a big pay rise expected. Carrick said talks are going well and the club is calm and positive about the situation.
