Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior were on target as Real Madrid beat Deportivo Alavés 2-1 to close the gap on FC Barcelona at the top of La Liga.
Mbappé opened the scoring in the first half with a composed finish before Vinícius added a second early in the second half after a quick counter-attack.
Alavés pulled one back late on, but Real held on for an important win that keeps the title race alive.
The result cuts Barcelona’s lead to six points, with both sides still having several games left in the season.
