Immanuel Feyi-Waboso scored a sensational solo try on his return from injury as Exeter Chiefs beat Munster to reach the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
Exeter took advantage of a sloppy first half from Munster, with Ross Vintcent opening the scoring, followed by interception tries from Henry Slade and Will Rigg. Feyi-Waboso then weaved through half the Munster defence to make it 31-0 at halftime.
Munster fought back in the second half with two tries from Jack Crowley and one from returning captain Tadhg Beirne, but Exeter’s defence held firm. A late yellow card for Beirne ended Munster’s hopes, and Crowley’s consolation try didn’t change the result.
Exeter will face either Cardiff or Benetton in the quarter-finals next weekend.
