Gianluigi Donnarumma said he was heartbroken after Italy national football team failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup, admitting he cried after their penalty loss to Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team.
Italy have now missed three straight World Cups, with Donnarumma unable to save any penalties, while Pio Esposito and Bryan Cristante missed their spot-kicks.
Despite the disappointment, Donnarumma promised to help rebuild Italy and bring the team back to where it belongs.
