Enzo Fernandez has apologised but will still miss Chelsea’s match against Manchester City, says head coach Liam Rosenior.
Fernandez was given a two-match internal ban after comments he made about Madrid during the international break. Even though he has apologised to the club, Chelsea have decided to keep the original punishment.
Rosenior said the decision stands for now, but hopes Fernandez will return and play an important role for the team after serving his ban.
