Crystal Palace took a big step toward the Conference League final after beating Shakhtar Donetsk in the first leg.
Ismaila Sarr scored just 21 seconds in the fastest goal in the competition’s history to give Palace an early lead. Shakhtar later equalised, but Palace responded with goals from Daichi Kamada and Jorgen Strand Larsen to secure a strong advantage.
The result puts Palace in a commanding position ahead of the second leg, with a place in the final now within reach.
