Courtney Lawes has confirmed he is coming out of England retirement after signing for Sale Sharks for the 2026–27 season.
The 37-year-old says he would “love to play for England again” but is focused first on performing well for his new club.
Lawes enjoyed a long international career, winning three Six Nations Championship titles and playing in the 2019 World Cup final before retiring after the 2023 tournament.
