Ferran Torres scored twice early on, both assisted by Lamine Yamal, who also made history as the club’s youngest player to reach 100 appearances.
Espanyol pulled one goal back, but Barcelona stayed in control and sealed the win late with goals from Yamal and Marcus Rashford.
The victory puts Barcelona nine points clear of Real Madrid as they move closer to the title.
