Anthony Joshua has officially signed a deal to fight long-time rival Tyson Fury, finally setting up one of the most anticipated bouts in heavyweight boxing.
Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed the agreement, describing the fight as “signed, sealed and delivered” after years of failed negotiations between the two former world champions.
Before the blockbuster clash, Joshua is set to return to the ring against Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on 25 July, marking his first fight since December following a difficult period that included a fatal car crash involving members of his team.
A date and venue for the Joshua-Fury showdown have not yet been announced, though it is expected later this year.
