Ollie Watkins admits his recent form hasn’t been good enough to make Thomas Tuchel’s England squad. The Aston Villastriker was left out after scoring just once in his last nine league games.
However, Watkins reminded Tuchel of his quality by scoring in Villa’s win over West Ham, ending his goal drought and showing he can still perform.
With the World Cup approaching, Watkins knows he must keep scoring to have a chance of being selected.
