Tottenham Hotspur F.C. endured another terrible night as goalkeeper Antonín Kinský was substituted after just 17 minutes during a heavy UEFA Champions League defeat to Atlético Madrid.
Kinsky slipped twice early in the match, which led to goals from Marcos Llorente and Julián Álvarez. In between those mistakes, Micky van de Ven also slipped, allowing Antoine Griezmann to score.
With Spurs already 3-0 down, interim coach Igor Tudor replaced Kinsky with Guglielmo Vicario after only 17 minutes. Soon after, Robin Le Normand added a fourth goal for Atletico.
Pedro Porro scored for Tottenham to briefly lift spirits, but Alvarez later grabbed his second goal after a quick counter-attack following a great save from Jan Oblak.
The result piles more pressure on Tudor after Spurs’ fourth straight defeat in what has been a disastrous season.
