Jannik Sinner broke Novak Djokovic’s 10-year record for most consecutive sets won at ATP Masters 1000 events after beating Corentin Moutet at the Miami Open.

The world number two won 6-1, 6-4 in just 71 minutes, taking his run to 26 straight sets—surpassing Djokovic’s previous record of 24. He had equalled the record in his first match against Damir Dzumhur.

Sinner, who has won his last two Masters 1000 tournaments without dropping a set, said he is happy but staying focused. He will now face Alex Michelsen in the last 16 as he aims to complete the ‘Sunshine Double,’ last achieved by Roger Federer in 2017.
