Argentina great Lionel Messi will have a stand named after him at Inter Miami’s new stadium.
The 38-year-old, who joined the club in 2023, has become their record goalscorer and assist provider, making a huge impact on and off the pitch.
Inter Miami says the decision is to honour Messi while he is still playing, recognising his influence in the present rather than waiting until he retires.
