Floyd Mayweather will face veteran Greek kickboxer Mike Zambidis in an exhibition fight this June before his rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
The Pacquiao–Mayweather rematch is scheduled for 19 September at the Sphere in Las Vegas, streaming live on Netflix. This will be their second meeting after the 2015 “Fight of the Century.”
Mayweather, 49, is coming out of retirement for the fourth time and will take on Zambidis in Athens to prepare for his first professional boxing match in nine years. Zambidis, 45, has a 157-24 kickboxing record with 87 KOs and last fought in June 2015.
Mayweather’s last professional bout was a 10th-round TKO win over Conor McGregor in 2017.
