Erling Haaland, Norway’s all-time top scorer, is inspiring people in a new way—through history. The Manchester City striker has donated a rare £100,000 Viking book to the library in his hometown of Bryne.
The 16th-century manuscript, bought with his father, tells stories of Viking kings, queens, and warriors. Haaland wants it on display so everyone can read it and be inspired, just as he was through football.
Haaland continues to shine on the pitch, leading the Premier League in goals and helping Norway reach their first World Cup finals since 1998.
