The Bahrain Grand Prix and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix are under threat due to the escalating US-Israel–Iran conflict. Retaliatory missiles from Iran have targeted Gulf states, hitting civilian sites, energy infrastructure, and American military bases, including the US naval base in Manama, Bahrain, near areas where F1 personnel stay.
The Bahrain race is scheduled for 10–12 April, followed by Saudi Arabia in Jeddah a week later. F1 officials said they are monitoring the situation closely and prioritising safety, but a decision on whether the races can proceed must be made within roughly two weeks to allow logistics for transporting equipment.
