Derby County FC beat Sheffield Wednesday FC 2–1, extending Wednesday’s winless run to 30 matches in the EFL Championship.
Ben Brereton Díaz opened the scoring for Derby before Jerry Yates equalised for Wednesday. But Matt Clarke restored Derby’s lead just before half-time.
The defeat means Wednesday, already relegated and on -7 points after a deduction, have now lost 13 league games in a row and joined a small group of clubs with 30 or more matches without a win.
