Crystal Palace F.C. were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by AEK Larnaca FC in the first leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League last-16 tie.
Palace dominated the match with over 70% possession and several chances, but they could not find a goal. Evann Guessand, Jørgen Strand Larsen and Ismaïla Sarr all came close, while Larnaca goalkeeper Zlatan Alomerovic made key saves.
Substitute Jean-Philippe Mateta nearly scored late on, but Palace were unable to break down Larnaca’s strong defence before the second leg.
