Carrick took charge after Ruben Amorim was sacked in January and has helped turn the team’s form around. United have won six of their last eight matches, collecting more Premier League points than any other team in that period.
Despite the strong results and growing calls for Carrick to stay long-term, Ratcliffe refused to confirm if he will be appointed permanently. United are currently third in the table and pushing for a return to the UEFA Champions League.
