Ireland will play Australia in a Test match in Canberra for the first time as part of their World Cup warm-up in 2027.
The game will take place at GIO Stadium on 18 September, just before both teams begin their World Cup campaigns. Australia start against Hong Kong-China, while Ireland face Portugal.
Australia have a strong record at the Canberra venue, winning all five matches played there. Ireland, however, won the last meeting between the teams in Dublin.
