Cameron Norrie and Katie Boulter were both knocked out in the third round of the Miami Open, ending British hopes in the singles.
Norrie lost a close three-set match to Alex Michelsen, while Boulter was beaten in straight sets by Karolina Muchova.
Elsewhere, Fran Jones had to retire due to illness during her match against Jessica Pegula.
