Bayern Munich may be forced to play a 16-year-old goalkeeper, Leonard Prescott, in their UEFA Champions Leaguematch.
This is because all their main goalkeepers have injury problems, including Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich, while Jonas Urbig is still recovering from a concussion.
Coach Vincent Kompany said if Urbig is not fit, Prescott could make his first-team debut against Atalanta.
If selected, Prescott would need special permission to play because of his age, but the club says they have full confidence in him.
