Arsenal F.C. have started talks with Declan Rice over a new long-term contract to keep him at the club for the future.
Rice still has two years left on his current deal, with an option to extend it by another year. However, Arsenal want the England midfielder to commit his prime years to the club and are offering a pay rise.
Since joining Arsenal from West Ham United F.C. for £105m in 2023, Rice has become one of the team’s most important players and one of Europe’s top midfielders.
Talks are still at an early stage, but Arsenal are working to secure the futures of several key players as they push for the Premier League title.
