Substitute Desire Doue inspired Paris Saint-Germain to a remarkable comeback win against 10-man Monaco in the first leg of their Champions League knockout play-off.
PSG fell 2-0 behind early on to Folarin Balogun’s goals but were revived when 20-year-old Doue came on for Ousmane Dembele. He scored twice and helped Achraf Hakimi net the equaliser.
Monaco suffered further when Aleksandr Golovin was sent off early in the second half. PSG then completed the turnaround with Doue’s second goal, assisted by Warren Zaire-Emery, giving them a strong position ahead of the return leg in Paris on 25 February.
