Henry Pollock, known for his confidence and big personality, is set to make his first Test start for England national rugby union team against Ireland national rugby union team in the Six Nations Championship.
England coach Steve Borthwick described the 21-year-old as “wonderfully different” after being impressed by his bold introduction when they first met. Pollock first caught attention with a stunning solo try for Northampton Saints Under-18s and a fiery post-match interview after England Under-18s lost to South Africa in 2022.
Despite the milestone of captain Maro Itoje earning his 100th cap, much of the focus is on Pollock, who also featured for the British and Irish Lions last year after a rapid rise.
