Tiger Woods says playing at this year’s Masters is “not off the table,” but he still has no set return date.
The 15-time major champion, who turned 50 in December, had back surgery in October to replace a disc. It’s the latest in a long list of injuries that have kept him out since missing the cut at The Open in July 2024.
Woods says he is slowly improving and can now hit full shots again, though not consistently. He won his fifth Masters title in 2019 and hasn’t ruled out competing at Augusta in April.
After multiple back operations and serious leg injuries from a 2021 car crash, Woods admits returning to top-level golf remains a big challenge.
