Pierre Landry Kabore scored twice as Hearts easily beat a nine-man Dundee United to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to seven points.
Kabore opened the scoring in the 11th minute after a great run and cross from Harry Milne. Things went from bad to worse for Dundee United before half-time. VAR upgraded Amar Fatah’s yellow card to a red for a foul on Marc Leonard, reducing United to 10 men. Moments later, a penalty was awarded after Ryan Strain fouled Claudio Braga, and Alexandros Kyziridis calmly scored to make it 2-0.
Hearts dominated the second half, with Kabore and Milne creating more chances. Substitute Panutche Camara then saw red for headbutting Leonard, leaving Dundee United with nine players. Kabore added a late third goal, deflected off a defender, sealing a comfortable win for the league leaders.
The victory puts Hearts seven points clear of Rangers and nine ahead of Celtic, who face Hibernian and Falkirk on Sunday.
