Brighton & Hove Albion ended their six-game winless run in the Premier League with an impressive win over Brentford, easing pressure on manager Fabian Hurzeler.
Goals from Diego Gomez and Danny Welbeck sealed the victory at the Gtech Community Stadium. Brentford had chances, but Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen made a key save to preserve the clean sheet.
It was also a landmark day for James Milner, who made his record-breaking 654th Premier League appearance.
