Roma move up to third in Serie A after a 1-1 draw with second-placed AC Milan at Stadio Olimpico.
Koni de Winter gave Milan the lead in the 62nd minute from a brilliant Luka Modric delivery, but Lorenzo Pellegriniequalised for Roma with a penalty 16 minutes from time. Niclas Fullkrug nearly won it for Roma in the 90th minute but headed over.
The draw lifts Roma above defending champions Napoli, while Milan remain five points behind leaders Inter. Roma now turn their focus to Panathinaikos in Thursday’s Europa League clash as they aim to finish in the top eight.
