Liverpool have brought in Swedish goalkeeper Jennifer Falk on loan from BK Häcken for the rest of the season.
The 32-year-old is well known for her performance at last summer’s European Championship, where she saved four penalties in a shootout against England.
Falk is Liverpool’s second signing from Häcken this month, following the arrival of Alice Bergstrom last week.
Speaking about the move, Falk said she is very happy and excited. She explained that playing in this league has always been a dream of hers and that joining a club as big as Liverpool means a lot to her.
She also said she likes the atmosphere at the club, describing it as welcoming and well set up, with everything a player could need.
