Brighton boss Vidosic Takes Leave for Family Reasons

0

Brighton manager Dario Vidosic will be taking some time away from the club for family reasons, Brighton have confirmed.

Because of this, he will not be on the touchline for Brighton’s Women’s FA Cup fourth-round match against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Assistant head coach Chris Roberts will step in as interim manager, with help from first-team coach Arthur Brammer. Roberts has experience in the role, having previously taken temporary charge at Everton at the end of the 2021–22 season.

Vidosic joined Brighton in 2024 and guided the team to a fifth-place finish in the Women’s Super League in his first season.

In a statement, Brighton’s women’s and girls’ managing director Zoe Johnson said the club’s main focus is supporting Vidosic and his family during this difficult time, and asked for their privacy to be respected.

She added that Chris Roberts and Arthur Brammer will have the full support of the players, staff, and the wider club while they are in charge.
