Wolves ended their 11-match Premier League losing streak and earned manager Rob Edwards his first point in charge after a 1-1 draw at a lacklustre Manchester United.
United, missing eight senior players due to injuries and international duty, went ahead in the 27th minute through a deflected Joshua Zirkzee effort. Wolves responded late in the first half, with Ladislav Krejci heading in a well-placed equaliser from eight yards.
Both sides had chances after the break. Wolves’ Yerson Mosquera nearly scored an own goal, while United goalkeeper Senne Lammens made key saves. Wolves’ Jhon Arias came close to a winner, and a late Patrick Dorgu goal for United was ruled out for offside after a VAR check.
It was Wolves’ first point since 5 October and only their third of the season, leaving them 15 points from safety. United remain sixth, missing a chance to finish 2025 in fourth.
